What was the highlight of Samalaju Resort Hotel
Short good stay, new, clean facility.
Good modern facility. Two pools and a small kids pool. Quiet, catered more for visiting staff at local plants. Very nice beach front view. Strange location, resort located right behind smelting industrials plants. Otherwise sheltered from the industrialisation in the area.
Staff could be better trained for communicating with guests, some did not understand basic queries. Considering they cater for foreign professionals this requires immediate attention.

Suggetion for improvemnet.
I like the pool the most but they must provide towels for guest that go to the pool. Don assume that people will bring the towel from the room to the pool.
The place for barbeque should b free n not to be rented. This place is far from town n it is hard for people to bring a lot of things for barbequing n yet the resort ask to pay for using the barbeque place juz to be used for few hours. I don think that it reasonable. People come to the resort to get together with frens n family n having fun and they need to pay juz for the sake of barbequing for few hours..i don think it is reasonable.

The bed was comfy.
The bed was comfy.
The man at reception was very unfriendly. This is not a tourist destination, it is for workers at the surrounding industrial sites. The room smelt of mould and sewerage.
